The Head of US Field Reimbursement, West will lead and develop a high-performing team of Field Reimbursement Managers (FRMs) across the Western United States, supporting healthcare providers and institutions navigating patient access and reimbursement for the argenx portfolio of therapies. Reporting to the Head of US Market Access , this field-based leadership role is responsible for driving execution of reimbursement and access strategies across targeted healthcare provider accounts, including physician practices, academic medical centers, hospital outpatient departments, and infusion centers. The individual will provide strategic direction, coaching, and operational leadership to an established team while ensuring consistent execution of customer-facing reimbursement programs and account access initiatives. This leader will play a critical role in shaping field reimbursement strategy, leveraging customer insights, field coaching, and advancing patient access solutions. This leader will foster cross-functional collaboration with HCP Market Strategy, Marketing, Commercial Operations, Legal, Patient Support, and Market Access partners to optimize outcomes for patients and providers. Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Development Lead, coach, and develop a team of field-based reimbursement professionals supporting targeted healthcare provider accounts across the Western region. Foster a culture of accountability, empowerment, collaboration, transparency, and continuous learning. Establish clear performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and professional development for direct reports. Support succession planning and talent development to ensure organizational readiness and sustained team performance. Strategy & Execution Drive execution of regional reimbursement and access strategies aligned with organizational goals and business priorities. Identify opportunities to enhance provider access, reimbursement support, and customer experience across the patient journey. Collaborate with Market Access leadership to implement innovative programs, tools, and services that deliver best-in-class reimbursement support. Translate customer insights and market dynamics into actionable recommendations to improve access and reimbursement outcomes. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with Patient Support, Distribution, Market Strategy, Marketing, Commercial Operations, and Legal teams to advance access initiatives and improve the patient experience. Serve as a strategic thought partner by communicating field insights, emerging trends, and access barriers to internal stakeholders. Align cross-functional resources and priorities to maximize impact within key accounts and across the broader marketplace. Operational Excellence Drive the adoption and enhancement of digital .enabled capabilities to improve FRM efficiency, streamline workflows, reduce administrative burden, and optimize the time FRMs spend on high-value activities that support customer engagement and patient access. Establish and monitor critical success factors (CSFs), key performance indicators (KPIs), and business objectives to drive performance and measure impact. Ensure timely and accurate documentation of field activities, account insights, and strategic initiatives. Manage regional budgets and field team expenses in accordance with company policies and financial expectations. Ensure all activities are conducted in full compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and argenx core values. Desired Skills and Experience : Required Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, or associated experience. 10+ years of experience in market access, reimbursement, patient access, or related commercial healthcare functions. Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing field-based teams. Deep understanding of reimbursement, payer dynamics, and patient access challenges within specialty and/or rare disease markets. Buy and Bill experience required. Strong strategic thinking, execution, and cross-functional leadership skills. Excellent communication, organizational, and change management capabilities. Preferred Experience supporting rare} disease, specialty biologics, or orphan drug therapies. Experience leading teams through periods of growth, transformation, and evolving market access landscapes Must live in Western US. Preferred locations would be Colorado, Utah, AZ, or proximity.
