Role Description This full-time remote Health and Social Care Tutor role is responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment to apprenticeship learners in health and social care settings. Day-to-day tasks include planning and delivering engaging online sessions, supporting learners to achieve their qualifications, and assessing their competence against relevant standards. The tutor will provide regular feedback, track progress, and maintain accurate records using digital systems. The role also involves collaborating with employers, promoting best practice in health and social care, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and awarding body requirements. The successful candidate will foster an inclusive learning environment and encourage learner engagement, retention, and achievement.
Qualifications

• Strong Communication skills, including the ability to explain complex health and social care concepts clearly to diverse learners.
• Customer Service skills to support learners and employer partners professionally and responsively.
• Knowledge of Occupational Health principles and practices relevant to health and social care settings.
• Understanding of Medicine and Health Promotion topics appropriate to health and social care training.
• Experience in health and social care practice or education, ideally with a background in care provision, nursing, or related fields.
• Recognized teaching, training, or assessing qualification (e.g., PTLLS/CTLLS, AET, DET, or equivalent) is highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with apprenticeship standards and competency-based assessment in health and social care.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage caseloads, and use online learning platforms and digital tools effectively.
