Join a Team That Makes a Difference The Georgia Department of Revenue is hiring a Helpdesk Analyst 1 to help us administer state tax laws fairly and efficiently. In this role, you'll support our Unclaimed Property Unit and help carry out the work outlined in Georgia's Unclaimed Property Act. If you enjoy solving problems, helping people, and staying organized in a busy environment, we'd love to hear from you. As a Helpdesk Analyst 1, you'll be the friendly, knowledgeable voice customers reach by phone and email. Your day-to-day work will include: Guiding users through our online Claimant and Reporting websites Responding to customer inquiries with clear, helpful answers Handling clerical duties as assigned Because you'll walk customers through detailed instructions, sharp attention to detail and strong organizational skills are key to your success here. Entry Qualifications High School diploma or GED and six months of experience handling customers, questions, complaints, and/or providing information Please note: DOR contingent workers must have completed at least 6 consecutive months on their current assignment to be considered. Required Skills & Experience Two years of customer service experience in a professional services environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to research data using manual and electronic resources to resolve customer issues Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Preferred Qualifications At least 1 year of inbound call center experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook Salary : $49,920 Pay Grade : I Location: 4125 Welcome All Rd, Atlanta GA 30349. This is a hybrid position with working hours of 8am to 4:45pm, Monday to Friday. Start times may be adjusted to 7:30am based on business needs. *A telework schedule of two(2) remote days per week is contingent upon demonstrated proficiency after training and is subject to change based on DOR policies and ability to meet performance expectations.
