About the Role

Hiredbuddy is seeking a skilled and proactive HR Recruiter to own the end-to-end recruitment process for our growing organization. In this intermediate-level role, you will partner closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, develop effective sourcing strategies, and deliver a seamless candidate experience from first contact to offer acceptance. Your ability to balance speed with quality will directly impact our ability to attract and retain exceptional talent.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job posting, sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, and extending offers.
• Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, create compelling job descriptions, and establish candidate evaluation criteria.
• Source candidates through multiple channels, including job boards (LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor), employee referrals, networking events, and social media outreach.
• Build and maintain a robust candidate pipeline for current and future openings, using an ATS (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, or similar) to track progress and data.
• Conduct initial phone and video screenings to assess candidate qualifications, cultural fit, and alignment with company values.
• Coordinate and facilitate interview processes, providing guidance to interviewers and ensuring a structured and unbiased evaluation.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records, and generate recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and offer acceptance rates.
• Support employer branding initiatives, including writing engaging job posts, participating in career fairs, and promoting our culture on social media.
• Stay current with industry trends, salary benchmarks, and best practices in talent acquisition to continuously improve our processes.
• Occasionally assist with onboarding activities and HR-related projects as needed.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
• Proven track record of successfully filling roles across various functions and levels.
• Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, including sourcing, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
• Proficiency with ATS platforms (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, Workday) and LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Required Skills

• Experience with applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, or similar).
• Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other sourcing platforms.
• Familiarity with video interviewing tools (Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams).
• Basic knowledge of HRIS and onboarding software is a plus.
