Navicore Solutions currently has open Housing Counselor positions in our Housing Department. This is a full-time, remote position and all training is conducted remotely. All technological equipment is provided to employees by the organization. Shift : 11-7:30pm-EST. Or 12-8:30pm-EST. Employee would select 4 shifts/days between Monday-Friday and every Saturday as mentioned below. This position includes a Saturday work schedule. Sunday is a fixed day off, and employees may select one additional weekday as their second regularly scheduled day off. What will you do as a Housing Counselor? Role Description In this position, you will provide housing counseling to referred homeowners. What To Expect: Educate homeowners on various financial products and align their financial goals. Deliver clear, consistent client education and program guidelines. Provide resources and customized client action plans to clients as needed. Conduct high-volume inbound and outbound phone communication with clients in a professional manner. Build and maintain positive client relationships through effective telephone engagement. Accurately enter, update, and transfer client data in applicable systems. Participate in required training sessions related to programs, services, and compliance. Meet established performance, productivity, and behavioral expectations. Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, and quality standards; incorporate feedback from management. Basic Qualifications : High School Diploma or Equivalent. Required to obtain HUD Housing Counselor Certification within 30 days of hire (study materials provided) . Demonstrates a strong commitment to punctuality and dependable attendance. Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate ability to manage time effectively and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Ability to communicate professionally in a high-volume call center setting (inbound and outbound). Strong active listening skills with the ability to assess client needs accurately. Ability to spend the majority of the workday on the phone. Must be computer literate, proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, including typing at least 40 words per minute. Willingness and availability to attend all required training courses. Prior call center experience required; mortgage and/or housing industry experience is a plus. Ability to pass a pre-employment screening process including criminal background check and drug screen. Preferred Qualifications College Degree Preferred or relevant work experience. Demonstrated empathy while maintaining clear guidance and direction for clients. Must have a positive and professional attitude.
