Housing Litigation - Legal Assistant

Do you want to build hands‑on experience supporting high‑impact Housing Litigation work? You will support Housing Litigation solicitors to deliver a high‑quality service to social housing clients. The role offers varied casework exposure across disrepair and possession matters, with strong supervision and development. You will work closely with solicitors and clients across housing associations, local authorities and charity landlords. Key Responsibilities Support housing litigation casework from pre‑action to litigation Draft court documents under supervision Liaise with courts, counsel, experts and clients Assist with billing, settlements and reporting Maintain accurate time recording and case files Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Legal Assistant or Paralegal experience preferred but not essential Strong organisation and attention to detail Confident written and verbal communication IT‑literate with case management systems Interest in housing or property litigation Benefits Birmingham, located roles, we have a newly refurbished office in the City centre with an on-site café and free use of Gym facilities For Manchester vacancies, we have a City Central site, with newly refurbished facilities Hybrid working 25 days holiday, 2 gift days at Christmas.
