$75,000–$90,000 | Full-Time | Utah Preferred | Primarily Remote | Approximately 50% Local Travel + Mileage Reimbursement About the Role Momentum Employer Group (MEG) is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to provide strategic and consultative HR support to business owners, executives, leaders, and managers. This is a multi-client role requiring strong HR expertise, business acumen, sound judgment, and relationship-building skills. You will learn each client's business and workforce, provide practical HR guidance, and help leaders address employee relations, compliance, performance, organizational development, and workforce challenges. The ideal candidate is a confident HR professional who can balance people, business, and risk while managing multiple clients and priorities. What You'll Do Serve as a trusted HR advisor to client owners, executives, leaders, and managers. Develop an understanding of each client's business, operations, organizational structure, workforce, financial drivers, and strategic priorities. Provide practical HR recommendations that consider business objectives, operational needs, financial impact, employee experience, and organizational risk. Advise and coach leaders on employee relations, performance management, workplace conflict, investigations, corrective action, terminations, and employee communications. Interpret and apply employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices. Partner with clients on workforce planning, organizational development, retention, engagement, talent strategies, and leadership development. Identify HR trends, workforce risks, and opportunities and recommend appropriate action. Support organizational changes, restructures, leadership transitions, and other workforce initiatives. Conduct or support workplace investigations and ensure appropriate documentation and follow-up. Monitor HR compliance and recommend corrective action when needed. Develop and deliver HR training and manager education. Partner with recruiting, operations, and other internal teams to provide consistent, comprehensive HR support. Maintain accurate and confidential employee, client, and business records. Escalate significant employee relations, compliance, or business risks to the HR Services Director. Manage multiple clients, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Travel to client locations for meetings, training, investigations, and other business needs. What You Bring Required: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 7+ years of progressive HR experience , including HR Business Partner, HR Manager, or comparable experience. SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or equivalent certification, or willingness to obtain certification within the first year. Strong knowledge of employment laws, employee relations, performance management, and HR best practices. Strong business acumen and the ability to connect people, operations, financial performance, customer needs, and business strategy. Demonstrated experience advising managers and senior leaders on complex employee and workforce matters. Strong coaching, communication, interpersonal, conflict-resolution, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential matters. Ability to build trusted relationships with leaders, managers, employees, and clients. Proficiency with HRIS platforms, Microsoft Office, and virtual collaboration tools. Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability and willingness to travel locally approximately 50% of the time . Preferred: Master's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or related field. Experience supporting multiple clients, industries, locations, or states. Experience in an ASO, PEO, staffing, professional services, or multi-site environment . Experience with organizational development, workforce planning, change management, or leadership development. Utah-based candidates preferred. Compensation & Work Environment Salary: $75,000–$90,000 , depending on experience and qualifications. This is a primarily remote position with approximately 50% local travel to client locations . Utah-based candidates are preferred. Mileage is reimbursed for approved business travel in accordance with company policy. The role requires a dedicated workspace, reliable internet, and the ability to work effectively both virtually and in person. Candidates must be able to work at a computer for extended periods, communicate effectively by phone, video, email, and in person, and occasionally lift or move materials up to 10 pounds.
