About the role - 6 month fixed term contract As a People Partner in our People Operations team, you’ll partner with leaders to deliver people priorities across a business portfolio. Reporting to a Senior People Partner and supported by a People Advisor in the team, you’ll play a key role in providing practical, commercially sound advice that helps leaders manage people matters, build capability and improve team outcomes. This role is suited to someone with strong partnering experience and demonstrated capability in Workplace Relations and/or Health, Safety and Wellbeing. This experience is essential, as you’ll help identify risk, support effective decision-making and contribute to a safe, constructive and compliant workplace. What You’ll Be Doing Partner with leaders to deliver people priorities aligned to business needs and team goals. Work closely with a Senior People Partner, drawing on their guidance while contributing to portfolio planning and delivery. Provide practical advice on people matters, organisational change, workforce planning, leadership effectiveness and case management. Manage and support more complex case matters, including performance, conduct, grievances, workplace investigations, WorkCover and medical management. Apply your demonstrated Workplace Relations and/or Health, Safety and Wellbeing experience to identify risk, support effective case resolution and maintain strong governance. Work with a People Advisor to support timely, consistent and practical delivery across the portfolio. About You Proven success in a people partnering role within a complex or matrixed environment. Must have demonstrated experience in Workplace Relations and/or Health, Safety and Wellbeing, with confidence supporting complex matters and managing risk. Ability to influence leaders, build trusted relationships and provide commercially sound advice. Comfortable working as part of a broader partnering team, with the ability to collaborate with Senior People Partners, People Advisors and specialist teams. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Health and Safety or a related field.
