About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR professional to join our team as an HR Specialist. In this key role, you will be responsible for managing the entire employee lifecycle, providing expert advice on personnel and labor law matters, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Your work will directly impact the well-being and development of our staff, including restaurant employees and international apprentices. You will act as the primary point of contact for managers and employees, supporting a positive workplace culture and facilitating smooth HR processes. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a completed commercial or HR-related qualification or degree, with additional certification such as a qualification in personnel management being advantageous. You should have practical experience in generalist HR roles, demonstrating confidence and legal certainty in handling personnel issues. Solid knowledge of employment law and basic understanding of payroll processing and data protection are essential. Proficiency in MS Office 365 and HR systems is required, along with strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Fluency in German is mandatory, and proficiency in English is beneficial for supporting international apprentices. A proactive, structured, and discreet working style, combined with team spirit and a hands-on mentality, are qualities we highly value.
Responsibilities
- First Point of Contact & Advisory: Serve as the initial contact for restaurant managers and staff, providing guidance on HR and employment law issues with professionalism and empathy.
- Employee Lifecycle Management: Oversee all administrative aspects from contract drafting, preparing payroll data (in coordination with external payroll providers), to employee exit processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Personnel Administration: Maintain personnel records, process employment certificates, and manage digital personnel files with confidentiality and precision.
- Labor Law & Employee Cases: Handle contract modifications, disciplinary actions, and terminations in coordination with restaurant leadership, ensuring legal compliance and fairness.
- Audits & Compliance: Conduct regular HR audits, verify the completeness and correctness of personnel files, and ensure adherence to legal and company standards.
- Housing & International Apprentices: Manage employee and apprentice accommodations, including overseeing the international apprentice program, ensuring a smooth onboarding and support process.
- Reporting & Process Optimization: Maintain HR metrics, contribute to the digital transformation of HR workflows, and support process improvements to enhance efficiency.
