About this Position We are looking for our next HR Generalist to join our dynamic HR team and partner with leaders and employees across our Australian & New Zealand Adhesive Technologies and Functions divisions. Based in Sydney, this role offers the opportunity to work across our Chatswood office and Seven Hills site, with occasional travel to New Zealand. What you´ll do Provide HR generalist and business partnering support, advising leaders and managers across employee relations, policies, procedures and people management. Partner with leadership teams on organisational design, workforce planning and capability development to support current and future business needs. Drive and support HR projects and initiatives across organisational development, governance, engagement, culture, leadership development and training. Lead and support talent management activities, including recruitment, performance management, succession planning, development plans and annual remuneration reviews. Provide expert guidance across employee and industrial relations, including grievances, disciplinary matters, restructures, redundancies, union negotiations and award interpretation. Coach and mentor managers to build people leadership capability, strengthen employee engagement and foster a high-performance culture aligned with Henkel’s values. Support the implementation of local, regional and global HR strategies and initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities, local legislation and organisational needs. Provide payroll governance and back-up support across Australia and New Zealand, including payroll reviews, process compliance and system approvals. What makes you a good fit Degree qualified in Human Resources, Business Management or a related discipline. 4+ years’ HR experience, with strong exposure to Employee & Industrial Relations, Union Negotiations and people management. Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, with a basic understanding of New Zealand employment law. Demonstrated leadership, coaching and mentoring skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders. Excellent communication, presentation, planning and organisational skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities. Highly collaborative, proactive and solutions-focused, with strong Microsoft Office skills, initiative and a hands-on approach to getting things done.
