Position Overview The HR Generalist plays a key operational role within the Possibilities ABA Human Resources team, supporting day-to-day HR functions including payroll, benefits administration, compliance, employee relations, and leave management. This is a fully remote position reporting to the HR Director and requires a high level of independence, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growing organization. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Payroll Process bi-weekly payroll Process status changes and RBT certifications Process reimbursement requests for payroll Manage payroll taxes, registrations, and state notices in coordination with the Controller Complete monthly new hire ACA measurements Support year-end payroll items Benefits Administration Enter new hires, process status changes, and terminations in Enroll 365 and Employee Navigator Monitor Employee Navigator weekly for tasks and follow-ups Send benefits notices to new hires Review benefit invoices and follow up on issues with GBS, Enroll 365, and Benefit Bay Answer employee benefits questions and escalate as needed Manage Awardco budgets and upload monthly recognition points Support benefits compliance and new initiatives Leave of Absence Administer and track employee leaves of absence Communicate with employees and leadership regarding LOA status and return-to-work timelines Compliance and Employee Records Conduct licensing audits and maintain accurate employee records Process wage garnishments and respond to misc state requests Manage background check renewal processes including annual renewals, monthly DACS submissions, and roster maintenance Track CPR certifications and professional liability insurance follow-ups Process employment verifications Handle census requests and other government reporting as needed Monitor compliance and legal updates, escalate to HR Director or COO as needed Support EEO reporting and workers compensation processes Employee Relations and HR Operations Process termination checklists Support monthly attendance reviews including communications, bulk uploads, and reporting Assist with performance review processing and compensation statements Support accommodation requests in coordination with HR Director Handle unemployment claims Assist with benefit and payroll-related new hire tasks Projects and Initiatives Contribute to HR projects and initiatives at a moderate capacity as assigned Support handbook and policy updates in coordination with the HR Director Other duties: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
