View All Jobs Date: 24 Aug 2026 Location: Description Ryanair are currently recruiting for a HR Generalist to join Europe’s Largest Airline Group. This is an excellent opportunity to join as we look to grow to over 800 aircraft and 300m guests within the next 10 years. The successful candidate will be dealing with a broad range of HR issues and will help support the full HR function and joining a team that helps keep the skies moving! As a HR Generalist you will play a critical role in supporting our employees and managers on a daily basis. From recruitment & onboarding to employee relations and compliance, you’ll help ensure our HR operations run smoothly. Key Responsibilities: Supporting the recruitment and selection process for Portugal Onboarding including issuing contracts & background checks Provide HR support for the employee review process Taking notes and representing HR at meetings, including Annual Appraisals, Review Meetings and Disciplinary procedures. Collating payroll data in terms of salary changes, adjustments & expenses Monitor employee absence to identify trends & complete return to works Ensure recordkeeping and data processing procedures comply with GDPR requirements Handle employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary procedures Supporting staff with any HR queries as and when they arise Producing weekly reports for the HR Manager & Company Directors Ensure compliance with Employment laws and the update of policies & procedures Any additional duties as required from the HR Manager Requirements Minimum of 1 year experience in HR dealing with Portuguese based employees and/or Portuguese labour law. Fluent in English and Portuguese HR Degree or Masters Ability to work in a pressurised and fast paced environment Strong organisational and interpersonal skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills PC Skills (Word, Excel, Power point etc.) Benefits Permanent contract Hybrid model of work, possibility to work from home 2 days a week!
