HR Services Team Lead – South Europe (m/f/d)

ABOUT THE ROLE

As our Team Lead HR Services within Global Business Services, you will play a key role in the development and delivery of high-quality, efficient, and compliant HR services across the region. You will lead a growing team of HR Administrators and Payroll Specialists, creating an environment where people can perform at their best while continuously improving the way we work. Joining our Global Business Services Center, you will have the opportunity to help shape our operating model, strengthen collaboration across European countries, and drive the standardization and digitalization of HR processes.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and inspire: Lead and actively support the day-to-day operations of a diverse HR Services team, fostering a collaborative, professional, and service-oriented culture.
• Drive operational excellence: Assess business needs, prioritize and allocate resources, monitor work in progress, and adapt team structures and ways of working to ensure excellent operational results.
• Partner across the organization: Work closely with HR Services leadership, the Global HR team, and other functions to ensure strong collaboration and effective delivery of HR services.
• Drive continuous improvement: Use targets, KPIs, and operational insights to identify opportunities for process optimization, standardization, and increased efficiency.
• Shape processes and policies: Act as a key point of contact for cross-functional stakeholders when introducing or updating HR guidelines, processes, and organizational structures.
• Build knowledge and empower others: Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base for employees, managers, and HR colleagues, making HR information accessible and easy to use.
• Develop your team: Coach, support, inspire, and develop team members, helping them grow their capabilities and take ownership of their areas of responsibility.
• Build a culture of improvement: Establish and embed a continuous improvement mindset across the department, encouraging new ideas and challenging existing ways of working.
• Lead strategic initiatives: Take ownership of internal and cross-functional projects that further develop and transform HR Services across Europe.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• 2+ years of experience in a similar leadership role within HR Global Business Services or HR Shared Services.
• Solid knowledge of Spanish payroll processes, with experience in payroll across other European countries highly valued (Italian payroll will be a strong advantage).
• Proven experience in managing, motivating, and developing high-performing teams.
• Broad knowledge of HR processes across the employee lifecycle, combined with experience leading HR transformation or change initiatives.
• Strong understanding of IT and Finance, with a genuine interest in digital HR solutions and process automation.
• Strong Excel skills; experience with reporting and data analysis tools is a plus.
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to balance operational priorities with long-term improvement opportunities.
