HR Specialist - Mexico & LATAM

The HR Local Representative, Specialist – Mexico will serve as the primary point of contact for external employees in Mexico primarily and knowledge in Colombia, Costa Rica and Peru good to have, ensuring smooth onboarding and offboarding, employment administration, and compliance with local labor laws. This role involves processing employee admissions and day-to-day requests, terminations, and resignations, managing payroll inputs and benefits, overseeing timekeeping and leave tracking, and maintaining accurate internal records. The specialist will collaborate closely with Sales, Account Managers, and HR regional teams to ensure seamless operations. Role & Responsibilities Act as our external employees’ main point of contact for Mexico. To support Mexico primarily and knowledge in Colombia,Costa Rica and Peru good to have Process GoGlobal’s onboarding for all external employees. Process admissions, terminations, and resignations of employees. Process and support contracts and addendums. Update internal systems and controls. Administer employee benefits (transportation, health insurance, meal vouchers, and life insurance, according to each country's requirements), ensuring their correct implementation and alignment with payroll processing. Working closely with HR regional department to make sure, onboarding forms and documents are up to date. Act as the main interface between employees and the Payroll department for all expense-related matters, providing guidance on expense policy compliance and supporting the resolution of employee expense inquiries. Process and manage employees’ electronic timeclock hours and timesheets if applicable Control external employees’ vacation, sickness, and maternity, among other HR requirements. Establish a trustworthy relationship with external workers during the length of their contracts. Report and escalate external employees’ issues to other departments so a solution can be found collectively. Background in HR, Employee Relations Fluency in English and native Spanish are required; and Portuguese is a plus. Experience with Office (word, excel), Office 365, SharePoint, AI tools At least 2-3 years in the required field.
