Company Description

Rose Harper Law, LLC is a personal injury law firm serving clients across New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. The firm focuses on cases involving auto and truck accidents, workplace injuries, medical malpractice, premises liability, product liability, wrongful death, and catastrophic injuries. Rose Harper Law is known for a client-focused approach, tailoring strategies to each person’s circumstances and pursuing maximum compensation for medical expenses, lost wages, and long-term care needs. Operating on a contingency-fee basis, the firm provides accessible, high-quality legal representation without upfront costs. Team members join a mission-driven environment where client recovery, clear communication, and integrity are central to the work.

About the Role

Rose Harper Law is a fast-growing, bilingual personal injury firm serving clients across New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, with a distributed team that includes talented professionals across Latin America. We are building the operational backbone to support that growth — and we need someone to own it.

We're hiring an HR & Operations Manager to design and run the systems that keep our people and our processes moving. This is a builder's role: you will create our onboarding and training programs from the ground up, document the SOPs that make the firm run, recruit and integrate new team members, get everyone set up on the right platforms, and own the reporting that tells us how we're doing. You'll partner directly with the owner and the operations leadership to turn a scaling firm into a well-run one.

If you love structure, take pride in clean documentation, and get energy from setting up systems that let other people do their best work, this role is for you.

What You'll Own

  • Onboarding & Training. Build, document, and continuously improve standardized onboarding for every role — from offer acceptance to fully ramped — so new hires are productive faster.
  • SOPs & Knowledge. Develop, organize, and maintain training content and standard operating procedures (SOPs) in Trainual, creating a single source of truth for how work gets done across departments.
  • HRIS Administration. Administer the full employee lifecycle in Rippling — hiring, provisioning, role changes, and offboarding — and keep records, documents, and compliance items accurate and current.
  • Recruiting & Talent. Source, screen, and coordinate hiring for new roles across the firm; manage candidate pipelines, scheduling, and a consistent, on-brand hiring experience.
  • Systems & Platform Setup. Stand up and maintain the tools and accounts each team member needs, ensuring everyone has correct access, permissions, and a smooth setup from day one.
  • Process & Operations. Design and run the firm's people and operations processes — workflows, checklists, calendars, and cadences — and identify where things can be streamlined or automated.
  • Reporting & Metrics. Build and maintain reporting and dashboards on headcount, onboarding progress, training completion, and key operational metrics, and surface insights to leadership.
  • People & Culture. Help shape policies, performance expectations, and team culture across a remote, cross-border team operating in English and Spanish.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in HR, People Operations, or business operations — ideally including time in a remote or distributed team.
  • Hands-on, working familiarity with Rippling and Trainual (configuring, administering, and building inside them — not just using them).
  • A proven track record building onboarding, training programs, and SOPs from scratch and getting an organization to actually follow them.
  • Strong recruiting and talent-coordination experience across the full hiring cycle.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Spanish.
  • Comfort with reporting and data — you can build a clean dashboard and explain what it means.
  • Exceptional organization, follow-through, and documentation habits; you finish what you start and write it down.
  • A reliable remote work setup and the ability to overlap with U.S. Eastern Time business hours.

Bonus Points

  • Experience in a law firm, professional services, or other compliance-sensitive environment.
  • Familiarity with additional tools in our stack (e.g., project management, time tracking, communication platforms).
  • Experience hiring and managing LATAM-based or international team members.
