About The Role
The Human Resources Assistant at Brixmor Property Group is a vital entry-level position within the HR/Talent Team, designed to support various administrative and operational functions. Responsibilities include assisting with the planning and execution of company-wide events such as Service Days, Take Your Kids to Work Day, internship programs, wellness activities, and other employee engagement initiatives. The role involves proofreading and auditing communications, policies, and data sheets to ensure accuracy and consistency. Acting as a point of contact for employees, the assistant will respond to general inquiries and escalate issues to relevant team members as needed. Managing confidential employee data within HRIS systems, inputting employee changes, maintaining records, and generating reports are core functions. Additionally, the assistant will coordinate invoice processing, manage expense reports for senior HR leaders, and update organizational charts. Responsibilities also include approving requests related to tuition reimbursement, personal development, service days, and business cards. Supporting recruiting efforts through sourcing, candidate outreach, and market research is also part of the role. The assistant will contribute to special projects and research initiatives, providing valuable support to the HR team.
