What are Workplace (Employee Complaint) Investigations?

In the U.S., when an employee files a complaint about harassment, discrimination, or retaliation, the organization is legally obligated to investigate it. Some are handled internally, and others require an external investigator to ensure impartiality… that’s where CLS comes in! Assistants support the Investigator during the investigation process, including interviews with the employee who filed the complaint, relevant witnesses, and the accused, taking interview notes, and gathering the evidence. Then, we analyze all the testimonies and evidence and reach a factual finding of whether the alleged conduct happened and, if so, whether it violated any of the company’s policies.

We are hiring for either an HR & Investigation Assistant OR an HR & Investigation Specialist.

Amazing Compensation, Benefits, and Bonuses:

Compensation:

HUMAN RESOURCES & INVESTIGATION ASSISTANT (Position Open Now): The total monthly compensation range is $3 million COP to $5 million COP. This includes benefits which are:

· Gym membership support: $80,000 COP

· Private health insurance support: $200,000 COP

· Home office and phone/high-speed internet service support: $120,000 COP

Starting monthly base compensation depends on the level and quality of your work experience relevant to the work CLS performs AND possession of both required and preferred qualifications. Every six months, you will receive a performance review and compensation increase of up to $500,000 COP, depending on your performance, until it reaches the maximum compensation range for the position. Work as a CLS HR & Investigation Assistant for a minimum of 1 year with competent performance and become eligible for promotion to the Specialist position.

HUMAN RESOURCES & INVESTIGATION SPECIALIST (Position Open Now): The total monthly compensation range is $5 million COP - $8 million COP.

The total compensation amount includes benefits which are:

· Gym membership support: $80,000 COP

· Private health insurance support: $200,000 COP

· Home office and phone/high-speed internet service support: $120,000 COP

Starting total monthly compensation will be between $5 million COP to $6 million COP depending on your work experience relevant to the work CLS performs, AND possession of both required and preferred qualifications, and your performance on the assessments in the hiring process.

Every six months, you will receive a performance review and compensation increase of up to $500,000 COP, depending on your performance, until it reaches the maximum compensation range for the position.

Additional Compensation & High-Performance Bonus Opportunities - Such as:

· High-performance bonus: When you perform investigations work, every investigation that you complete from start to finish according to CLS protocols and without major errors, you will receive a bonus of $500,000 COP. That is $500,000 COP for the person assisting the investigator AND another $500,000 COP for the senior writer (person co-leading the project and performing the final review.) When you become a “CLS Certified Investigator’s Assistant” (which is usually within the first 3 to 6 months of joining CLS), the bonus increases to $1 million COP per investigation.

Operations Schedule from Your Designated Home Office

Join an enthusiastic team and make a real difference in this full-time role. Core hours of operation are 6 am - 4 pm PST / 7 am - 5 pm PDT, California/USA, Monday - Friday, and the potential for extended hours or weekend contributions for high-impact projects.

Minimum Education/Experience Requirements

Human Resources & Investigation ASSISTANT:

• Advanced professional English speaking and writing skills are required.
• A minimum of 2 years of full-time professional work experience in English (in any field) is required. (Work experience in an internship does not count towards the 2-year requirement.)
• A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a full-time job remotely with a defined schedule from a home office is required.
• A Professional Bachelor’s Degree in any field is required. A Master's Degree is preferred.
• Experience drafting employee disciplinary letters and conducting investigations of workplace issues is preferred.
• 3 or more years of experience working in a full-time professional HR-related job in English, which includes daily communication and writing using advanced professional English skills, is preferred.

Human Resources & Investigation SPECIALIST:

• Advanced professional English speaking and writing skills are required.
• At least 5 years of full-time professional work experience in English (in any field) is required. Internships do not count. At least 3 of those 5 years must be in full-time HR positions where you frequently wrote professional documents in English.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a full-time job remotely with a defined schedule from a home office is required.
• Experience supervising 3 or more employees for at least 1 year is required.
• Experience drafting employee disciplinary letters and conducting investigations of workplace issues is preferred.
• A Professional Bachelor’s Degree in any field is required. A Master's Degree is preferred.

GROW at CLS! PROMOTIONAL POSITIONS ONLY for CURRENT CLS TEAM MEMBERS:

HUMAN RESOURCES & INVESTIGATION SUPERVISOR (Promotional only): The total monthly compensation range is $7 million COP to $12 million COP (this includes benefits). You will receive a performance evaluation and compensation increase of up to $500,000 COP every 6 months. The amount of your compensation increase depends on your performance and will continue to increase every 6 months until it reaches the maximum compensation range for the position.

HUMAN RESOURCES & INVESTIGATION MANAGER (Promotional only): The total monthly compensation range is $12 million COP to $20 million COP (this includes benefits). You will receive a performance evaluation and compensation increase of up to $500,000 COP every 6 months. The amount of your compensation increase depends on your performance and will continue to increase every 6 months until it reaches the maximum compensation range for the position.
