ABOUT ONETOGETHER SOLUTIONS OneTogether Solutions (OTS) is a majority Native-owned Managed Services Organization headquartered in Boulder, Colorado. We partner with federally recognized tribes to develop, operate, and sustain opioid treatment programs (OTPs) under Tribal 638 self-determination agreements, with clinic sites across California and Washington. Our model is built on the belief that Indigenous communities deserve whole-person, culturally grounded care delivered with excellence — and that the infrastructure supporting that care must be equally strong. POSITION SUMMARY The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees by providing strategic and operational Human Resources support. This role partners with clinic leadership, department leaders, the Chief People Officer, and the Human Resources team to support organizational goals while fostering a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace. Working under the direction of the Chief People Officer, the HRBP provides guidance, coaching, and support on employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, workforce needs, policy interpretation, and organizational initiatives. This role exercises independent judgment within established organizational practices while collaborating with the Human Resources team to ensure consistent and effective support across the organization. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, solutions-oriented professional who builds strong relationships, exercises sound judgment, and promotes a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement. This position requires approximately 25-40% travel to support assigned locations, leadership partnerships, employee needs, and organizational initiatives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Business Partnership & Leadership Support Serve as a trusted Human Resources partner by providing strategic and operational guidance that supports organizational goals. Build collaborative relationships with clinic leadership and OTS department leaders to foster a positive, engaged, and high-performing workplace. Partner with People operations and clinic leaders to identify workforce needs, efficiencies, and collaborate on practical Human Resources solutions that align with organizational objectives. Exercise independent judgment within established organizational practices while collaborating closely with the Chief People Officer and Human Resources team to ensure consistent, strategic, and compliant Human Resources support. Partner with Marketing and Engagement Manager to develop and grow outreach strategies and planning at each clinic Consistently strategize and develop collaborative workflows to prioritize native hiring preferences and native patient acquisition plan accountability. Employee HR Oversight and Performance Management Provide guidance and support to leaders and employees regarding workplace conflict management, policy implementation and accountability, and employment practices. Oversee and assist with all workplace investigations, provide guidance on corrective action, performance improvement plans, and progressive discipline. Partner meaningfully with OTS Regional Directors and Clinic Leaders to maintain real-time awareness of compliance, effective application of policies and procedures, and potential risk. Advocate and educate leaders toward fairness and consistent application of company policies and employment practices across clinics. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Support Partner with hiring managers and recruiters throughout the recruitment, selection, and onboarding process, in collaboration with the People Operations team. Support the development of best practices across the entire talent pipeline and hiring process within clinics Audit and monitor ROI and efficacy of all tools, platforms and recruiting partners. Support workforce planning, organizational growth, and staffing initiatives in collaboration with leadership. Respond to employee and manager questions regarding Human Resources policies, programs, and resources. Compliance & Human Resources Operations Assist in maintaining compliance with applicable employment laws, company policies, auditing orgs (DEA / SAMSHA etc) Tribal requirements, and Human Resources best practices. Help and ensure accurate and confidential employee records and documentation are maintained. Own all Human Resources audit responsibilities, reporting, compliance activities, and process improvements. Maintain audit-readiness at all times. Participate in the implementation of Human Resources programs, policies, and organizational initiatives across all entities. Travel & Organization Support Travel approximately 25-40% to support clinic locations, organizational meetings, business reviews and optimization, clinic leadership support, and other HR related business needs. Build and maintain strong working relationships across the organizations through regular onsite support and communication. Participate in special projects, cross-functional initiatives, and other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Required Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered. Three (3) or more years of progressive Human Resources experience. Experience supporting employee relations, performance management, and employment law compliance. Strong interpersonal, leadership, and conflict resolution skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment. Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems. Strongly Preferred Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR). Experience supporting multiple departments or locations. Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, Tribal organizations, or other highly regulated environments. Experience with applicant tracking systems and HR information systems. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Strong relationship-building, leadership, and business partnership skills. Ability to influence, support, and develop leaders through collaboration and effective communication. Knowledge of Human Resources principles, employment laws, and best practices. Excellent critical thinking, conflict resolution, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail. Commitment to professionalism, integrity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
