Salary: $22.00 Hourly Job Summary The Human Resource Coordinator will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s human resource department. While our corporate headquarters is located in Minnesota, this is a full-time remote position. Supervisory Responsibilities None Duties and Responsibilities Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation. Answers frequently asked questions from employees relating to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, and refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management. Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records. Processes collectors’ backgrounds annually. Assists with processing of terminations, transfers, employee status changes, and the employee performance review process. Performs administrative duties related to the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). Generates standard and customized reports for leadership. Acts as the first point of contact for staff and managers regarding system access, technical issues, and basic HRIS training. Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately. Provides clerical support to the HR department. May assist with payroll questions from an HR standpoint, including answering employee questions, fixing processing errors, and providing guidance to employees on HRIS tax and direct deposit information. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Skills and Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Experienced in and proficient with ADP Workforce Now, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook, with the ability to learn other software platforms. Education and Experience Associate degree in a related field required. Prior related HR experience (3–5 years) preferred. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
