Human Resources Manager

CM IMMERSIVE (CMI) is an Estonian remote-first video games development studio with HQ in Tallinn, Estonia. CMI is focused on creating and publishing premium games for virtual reality and pc, currently known for the Into The Radius series, reaching more than one million players worldwide.

This role implies becoming a core people partner for our studio. You will own our HR processes, balancing the practical side of local HR administration in Estonia with the broader challenge of keeping a distributed team of ~30 people connected and supported. You will be recruiting, retaining, nurturing talent, resolving interpersonal challenges, and making sure things run smoothly on a daily basis, creating an environment in which our people can focus on making games.

What you'll do

• Acting as a trusted partner in the studio, keeping a distributed team connected
• Maintaining a healthier, more supportive work environment
• Managing a full recruitment cycle at 3-5 vacancies and closures a season
• Handling HR administration for the team and ensuring Estonian labor laws compliance
• Supporting a few managers for performance reviews, feedback cycles, and general people management
• Assessing team and recruitment health using qualitative data
• Keeping up to date with the gaming talent market and compensation trends

What we expect from you

• Fluent spoken and written English
• Appreciating and understanding video games as a medium
• An ability to take ownership and work autonomously in a rather introverted creative environment
• Good working knowledge of Estonian employment laws and standard HR administration
• Having around 3 years of experience as HR Manager or Generalist — ideally in gaming, tech, or IT
• A practical, empathetic approach to solving problems and building relationships
• A psychology or psychotherapy background as a specialist and / or client would be a plus
• Experience working with distributed and / or remote teams

Offered Salary Range: €2,000 - 2,500 net.
