Description Community Medical Services (CMS) is urgently hiring a Clinical Supervisor to help those suffering from addictions to opioids and other illicit substances gain access to care. Every day you’ll provide orientation, oversight, supervision, training, and support to the clinical staff providing services in outpatient programs. The Clinical Supervisor position will operate under a hybrid work model, with approximately 80% of work time performed remotely and 20% spent onsite at assigned clinic locations per month. Onsite responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, conducting or supporting audits, participating in clinic events, providing onsite clinical support, and assisting with other clinical needs as assigned. The Clinical Supervisor will initially be responsible for supervising counselors at the following locations: Columbus on High Kettering West Chester Akron Elyria Clinic assignments, onsite expectations, and travel requirements are subject to change based on business needs. The Clinical Supervisor must maintain the flexibility and availability necessary to travel to assigned clinic locations as requested . Is comfortable coordinating patient care with clinicians, case managers, and program assistants. Leverages knowledge of the substance abusing population, treatment planning, and the field of human social services to facilitate patient rehabilitation. To thrive in this role, you must be able to: Supervise clinical staff and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, CARF standards, and clinic and corporate policies and procedures Review group progress notes, monthly reports, client assessments, intake paperwork, and treatment plans Review staff time sheets, mileage logs, and expense reports Coordinate with the outpatient clinical management team to ensure all outpatient groups, screenings, and education classes are covered Review employee incident reports and discuss concerns with staff as needed Coordinate with Clinical Manager to review candidate applications, and conduct interviews for open clinical positions Perform chart audits and communicate results to staff Conduct treatment plan reviews to assess levels of patient care Maintain an awareness of substance abuse symptoms, signs, and best practice treatment Requirements Qualifications: Independently Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, such as an LICDC or LICDC-CS (required) At least six years of combined full-time behavioral health work experience and post high school education in a field related to behavioral health At least two years of experience in substance use disorder counseling, supervision, and training of behavioral health staff #CONSL About Community Medical Services Community Medical Services (CMS) is a CARF-accredited addiction treatment program providing services in the form of outpatient medication-assisted treatment and one-on-one and group counseling to those seeking help with their opioid use disorder.
