(Hybrid) IT Senior System Engineer – MSP Rolling Meadow, IL $100,000 -$115,000 About (Hybrid) IT Senior System Engineer – MSP We are seeking an(Hybrid) IT Senior System Engineer – MSP candidate to be part of a growing Managed Service Provider firm. The ideal(Hybrid) IT Senior System Engineer – MSP for this position will have 3-5+ years of experience deploying and supporting small-to-medium business environments, including servers, networking, virtualization, and the cloud. The (Hybrid) IT Senior System Engineer – MSP will be supporting clients through their migration from on-prem solutions to cloud solutions. The (Hybrid) IT Senior System Engineer – MSP must have excellent customer service skills and a desire to increase knowledge of cloud technology, virtualization, and networks for small-to-medium business solutions. The (Hybrid) IT Senior System Engineer – MSP must be well versed in O365/Azure deployments, virtualizing servers via Hyper-V/VMware, Server/Desktop support, and Networking configurations (SonicWall and Cisco Meraki) projects. The (Hybrid) IT Senior System Engineer – MSP will also lead as the technical expert for all infrastructure-related outages, failures, and problems. (Hybrid) IT Senior System Engineer – MSP Experience: Azure deployments and migration experience Expert-level experience managing Microsoft solutions (Microsoft Configuration Manager, Hyper-V, failover clustering, file services) Provide top-notch technical support in your areas of subject matter expertise (network, virtualization) Implementing network software and hardware upgrades (Cisco Meraki; SonicWall) Configuring and managing firewalls, switches, WAPs, VPNs, and other network appliances Troubleshooting and deploying Windows Server 2012-2019 Act as the highest point of escalation for Tier 2 and Tier 1 engineers.
