Hydraulic/Hydrology Engineer/Project Manager

Prepare hydrologic and hydraulic analysis using a wide range of models, including HEC-RAS, HEC-RAS 2D, HEC-HMS, and FLO-2D. Prepare hydrologic and hydraulic studies and FEMA permitting. Research jurisdictional drainage requirements for appropriate incorporation into design and construction drawings. Oversee production of drainage design and construction drawings using AutoCAD. Perform data management and prepare exhibits using ArcGIS and QGIS. Work as a member of a multi-discipline team. Mentor EIT staff regarding hydrologic and hydraulic theory and practice. Conduct site visits and document findings. Write and coordinate preparation of graphic materials for presentations and documents. Complete assignments on-time, within budget, and with highest level of quality. Routinely proposes and produces more effective ways to accomplish tasks. Prepares and follows comprehensive Project Framework Instructions and proper work planning for a project. Assists Principal on ensuring proper staff is assigned and utilized on their projects. Reviews project reports and performance metrics to track project progress and budget. Leads successful projects (profit, on-schedule, quality, satisfied client). Professional Licensed PE required. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE). Minimum 5 years’ drainage engineering. Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong organizational and Communication Skills. Works well in a Team Environment. Thorough attention to detail. Strong knowledge of construction means, methods and techniques. Ability to prepare civil engineering documents and specifications for projects.
