Identity Platform (Entra) Engineer

Apply Description Location: Remote Reports To: Principal Cloud Engineer About the Role: As an Identity Platform (Entra) Engineer at Cascadia Healthcare, you’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise identity and access management solutions, with a focus on security, automation, governance, and operational excellence. You’ll work closely with the IT team to deliver secure and scalable identity services that support our mission. Key Responsibilities: Administer and maintain Microsoft Entra ID and related identity services. Manage identity lifecycle processes including user provisioning, access reviews, entitlement management, and role-based access control. Implement and support authentication technologies including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Conditional Access, and passwordless authentication. Develop and maintain automation scripts for identity administration and operational tasks (PowerShell required). Develop automation solutions using Microsoft Graph and PowerShell. Support identity integrations with cloud and third-party applications. Monitor and optimize identity security posture, governance controls, and access policies. Assist with compliance initiatives and identity-related security controls. Maintain accurate documentation and reporting. Collaborate with IT, engineering, and security teams on projects, audits, and incident response activities. Participate in process improvements and technical troubleshooting. Nice to Have: Experience with Microsoft Intune and device identity management. Experience with Active Directory and hybrid identity environments. Experience with AWS IAM, Okta, Ping Identity, or similar identity platforms. Experience with access reviews, entitlement management, and lifecycle workflows. Experience integrating enterprise applications with SSO and automated provisioning technologies. Advanced troubleshooting and incident response experience. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert). Experience in healthcare environments. Requirements Required Qualifications: 3–5 years of experience in identity and access management, directory services, or cloud engineering. Proficiency with Microsoft Entra ID and PowerShell. Experience with Microsoft identity technologies including Conditional Access, MFA, SSO, Identity Governance, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM). Experience developing automation solutions using Microsoft Graph and PowerShell. Salary Description $100,000-$120,000 annually
