We are looking for an individual to join our team as an Illustration Agent at an entry level, joining a team of 30 across the UK, the EU and the US.
We offer a comprehensive training package which covers sales training, artist briefing and
development, project management, and creative trend awareness. You will be using all of those skills and more as an Advocate Agent! If you have experience in Publishing or sales, we can offer an increased package.
This role is fully remote - which means you can work from home, or anywhere, but we are looking for an individual based in the UK. Currently, we have base offices within the UK and US where our teams meet casually.
We can fast-track your training and salary expectations!
An Illustration Agent is the middle person between illustrators and clients, so you work with the
Advocate artists to develop & create marketable / saleable work, make the connection between artist and client, and ensure everything works out during the project. There is an existing group of clients that you will look after following training, and there is a degree of new business development. In a nutshell, it's a creative sales role.
Sounds like fun?- It is!
The Illustration Agent's starting salary is £28-35K, depending on prior experience, with OTE £45K-£65++ and after training.
Expect a long and lucrative career at Advocate Art. We have a very high retention rate! The market in kids and decorative publishing is buoyant, and above all the people in it are great. We offer full training in a casual virtual environment. Travel expenses are paid- worldwide, New York, Italy etc. or if you need a face-to-face meet up. We offer a bonus scheme to prove that we reward success and hard work alongside great healthcare plans.
Working hours for this position is Monday – Thursday, 9 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., but you have flexibility since you are no longer expected to report to a physical office.
Interviews will be held on Skype on an ongoing basis.
