We assist clients with temporary residence, permanent residence and other Canadian immigration matters. Our team uses a modern internal platform to manage client information, prepare applications, review documents and maintain organized case workflows.
We are expanding our professional team and looking for a full-time Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant who understands immigration law, exercises sound professional judgment and is interested in growing within a modern immigration practice.
This is a hands-on RCIC position. You will conduct consultations, review applications, support our case-processing team and help ensure that client matters are handled accurately, professionally and efficiently.
You do not need decades of experience. We care more about the quality of your experience, your understanding of immigration law, your judgment, your work ethic and your willingness to continue learning.
Responsibilities
- Conduct immigration consultations and client assessments.
- Review client circumstances and identify appropriate immigration options.
- Review immigration applications, forms, supporting documents and submission letters.
- Provide clear instructions and professional guidance to case-processing staff.
- Identify legal, factual, procedural and documentary risks before submission.
- Review client-prepared or self-directed applications and provide professional feedback.
- Assist with temporary-residence and permanent-residence matters.
- Respond to client and team questions that require RCIC involvement.
- Maintain clear file notes and professional records.
- Use Immigratic’s internal case-management and digital workflow systems.
- Help improve application checklists, review procedures, templates and client communications.
- Escalate complex or unfamiliar matters when appropriate.
- Participate in training, professional development and internal knowledge sharing.
- Maintain professional and regulatory standards in all client and team interactions.
Required qualifications
- Active RCIC licence in good standing with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants.
- Currently entitled to practise Canadian immigration law.
- Approximately two or more years of meaningful, hands-on immigration experience.
- Strong understanding of Canadian immigration legislation, regulations, policies and program requirements.
- Experience assessing, preparing or reviewing immigration applications.
- Strong written communication and attention to detail.
- Ability to identify legal and factual risks rather than simply complete forms and checklists.
- Good professional judgment and willingness to ask questions when necessary.
- Comfortable working with technology, online systems and structured digital workflows.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Available for full-time work during regular Eastern Time business hours.
