Position Summary: The Implementation Consulting Senior Manager is responsible for guiding health plan clients through successful implementation of TurningPoint programs and services. This role serves as the primary day-to-day implementation partner for assigned clients, helping them understand the implementation process, organize their work, make timely decisions, manage dependencies, and prepare their teams for launch. This leader is expected to demonstrate strong influence skills, including the ability to navigate conflict, clarify priorities, manage risks, and align diverse stakeholders to move implementations forward. Responsibilities include acting as a trusted partner and advisor for clients, helping clients understand and manage their implementation responsibilities, maintaining strong project discipline, and working cross-functionally to ensure implementation activities are completed on time and with a high-quality client experience. While Solution Architects are responsible for solution design, technical architecture, and integration strategy, the Implementation Consulting Lead is responsible for implementation execution, client readiness, stakeholder alignment, project health, and delivery coordination. The Implementation Consulting Lead may oversee one or more new implementations or support a portfolio of active implementation and expansion efforts, depending on client size, complexity, and business need. Roles and Responsibilities: Client leadership and implementation delivery: Serve as the primary day-to-day implementation partner and trusted advisor for assigned clients, building strong relationships across business, operations, clinical, technology, provider relations, reporting, and leadership teams. Guide clients through the implementation process by clarifying milestones, decisions, resource needs, dependencies, readiness expectations, and next steps. Drive alignment and timely decisions by influencing client and internal stakeholders, clarifying priorities, and navigating conflict constructively. Lead day-to-day implementation execution across technology, operations, clinical, provider relations, reporting and analytics, and other impacted functions. Develop and maintain shared plans, RAID logs, workflows, requirement documents, status updates, and other client-facing deliverables. Establish clear ownership, dependencies, due dates, deliverables, and readiness criteria, and drive follow-through on open decisions and action items. Monitor progress, help clients remove barriers, and escalate issues when needed to keep implementations and decisions moving forward. Manage overall project health and provide meaningful client and internal status updates that highlight progress, key risks, dependencies, issues, and mitigation plans. Support a smooth transition from implementation to steady-state operations. Client readiness and cross-functional coordination: Help clients prepare their people, processes, workflows, systems, and operational teams for launch by clarifying what they must own, complete, validate, and communicate. Coordinate operational walkthroughs, training planning, process validation, testing support, go-live preparation, and post-launch stabilization planning, addressing readiness gaps with practical action plans. Partner with Solution Architects, Product, Technology, Operations, Clinical, Provider Relations, Analytics, Account Management, Sales, and other internal teams to align implementation activities with the approved solution and client milestones. Translate client needs into actionable workstreams with clear owners, due dates, deliverables, and documented decisions, risks, requirements, and commitments. Facilitate meetings, workshops, and working sessions that keep implementation activities moving forward. Communication and documentation: Communicate implementation progress, risks, dependencies, decisions, and mitigation plans in concise, executive-ready updates tailored to client leadership, internal executives, operational teams, and project stakeholders. Develop and maintain comprehensive and professional-looking documentation and deliverables.Team leadership and continuous improvement: Identify and advance improvements to implementation tools, templates, processes, documentation, methodology, and the overall client experience. Onboard and mentor implementation team members and share lessons learned to improve quality, consistency, and scalability. Model strong ownership, organization, accountability, and client leadership. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience. 3-5 years of experience in client-facing implementation, consulting, project delivery, healthcare operations, health plan operations, or related field. Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives with external clients. Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Strong facilitation, communication, documentation, and executive presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and successfully navigate scope, priorities, dependencies, and conflict. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and a bias toward action. Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete work in a timely manner while managing multiple deadlines and competing priorities. Ability to define objective, measurable, and realistic goals. Experience creating and maintaining project plans, RAID logs, decision logs, status reports, meeting materials, and other implementation artifacts. Demonstrated ability to identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and escalate issues appropriately. 3 or more years of demonstrated proficiency working with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, and either Smartsheet, MS Project, or other project software. Exhibit diplomacy, discretion, tact, and sound judgment while maintaining confidentiality in all professional interactions. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in healthcare, health plan operations, utilization management, specialty care management, claims, provider operations, or clinical operations. Experience supporting Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, commercial, or delegated healthcare programs. Experience working with large health plans, regional health plans, TPAs, or healthcare technology organizations. Experience in a consulting firm, healthcare consulting environment, or client delivery organization. Familiarity with implementation readiness, operational workflow design, testing coordination, go-live planning, and post-launch stabilization. Degree in business, health administration, healthcare management, information technology, nursing, public health, or operations management.
