The opportunity
We are building a national network of commercially experienced, well-connected independent sales agents who already understand the food, hospitality, payments, EPOS, wholesale, packaging or local-business market. This opportunity is particularly suitable for established agents who already sell complementary products and services and want to add a broader restaurant technology solution to their portfolio.
You will introduce, qualify and develop opportunities with restaurant and takeaway owners. Depending on your capability and agreed level of authorisation, you may arrange demonstrations, present approved TableReady solutions, support proposal discussions and help progress customers through to activation.
What you will do
· Identify and approach suitable hospitality businesses through your own relationships, field activity, referrals and prospecting methods.
· Understand the customer's current website, ordering, POS, kitchen, reservation, marketing and supplier arrangements.
· Identify commercial problems such as platform dependency, fragmented systems, weak repeat-customer marketing, inefficient kitchen workflows and poor supplier coordination.
· Present TableReady accurately using approved messaging, demonstrations, pricing and sales materials.
· Register prospects promptly in TableReady's CRM and maintain clear records of meaningful activity and next steps.
· Arrange or participate in customer demonstrations and meetings where appropriate.
· Work with TableReady's internal team to prepare proposals, confirm technical fit and progress onboarding.
· Protect the customer experience by avoiding unauthorised promises, discounts, delivery dates or product claims.
· Maintain professional conduct, confidentiality, data protection and compliance standards.
Who this suits
· Experienced self-employed field-sales agents, commercial introducers or business-development consultants.
· People already selling card machines, EPOS, telecoms, utilities, packaging, insurance, accountancy, foodservice or other products to hospitality businesses.
· Former food-industry or hospitality sales professionals with strong owner-level relationships.
· Independent agents seeking a credible recurring-service proposition rather than a one-off consumer product.
Essential requirements
· Proven B2B sales, referral or commercial relationship experience.
· Confidence speaking directly with restaurant, takeaway and hospitality decision-makers.
· Ability to operate independently without fixed hours, close supervision or guaranteed leads.
· Access to a suitable vehicle where field visits are undertaken, together with the necessary licence, tax, MOT and business-use insurance.
· Own telephone, computer or tablet and reliable internet access.
· Ability to use a CRM and follow transparent lead-registration rules.
· Right to work and operate on a self-employed basis in the United Kingdom.
· Professional integrity and willingness to follow approved pricing, product and brand rules.
Desirable experience
· Five or more years in hospitality, foodservice, restaurant technology, EPOS, merchant services, packaging, wholesale or related B2B sales.
· An established network of restaurant, takeaway, café, grocery or hospitality-sector contacts.
· Experience selling subscription software, managed services or other recurring-revenue solutions.
· Ability to conduct structured discovery meetings and demonstrations.
What TableReady provides
· A generous commission model with no cap. We encourage and respect hard work.
· Product onboarding and approved sales training.
· Access to current sales presentations, brochures, demonstrations and case studies.
· Approved pricing, proposal and contractual documentation.
· CRM access for lead registration and opportunity tracking.
· Internal technical and onboarding support for accepted customers.
· Periodic product, campaign and partner briefings.
· A defined path for high-performing agents to be considered for preferred-territory, regional-partner or future employed opportunities. No future role is guaranteed.
Commercial independence
Agents decide when, where and how they carry out their sales activity. There are no guaranteed hours, guaranteed leads, salary, holiday pay, sick pay, pension contribution, mileage payment or minimum income. Agents may provide services to other organisations, subject to confidentiality, conflict-of-interest and direct-competitor restrictions stated in the agreement.
