Influence Engagement Content Specialist The Influence Engagement Content Specialist is responsible for creating compelling visual, written, audio, and video content that supports Trust In Food communications, producer engagement, partner initiatives, and marketing campaigns. This role works closely with the Manager, Influence Engagement to develop content that engages farmers, ranchers, agribusinesses, food companies, and other agriculture stakeholders across digital and in-person channels. The Trust In Food Community is made up of farmers, ranchers, agribusinesses, food companies, non-profits, universities, and other stakeholders across the agriculture industry. This position will create engaging content that supports producer education, partner communications, and sustainable agriculture initiatives while helping drive measurable engagement across websites, social media, email campaigns, webinars, workshops and events. Trust In Food has the benefit of engaging directly with the nation’s top agri-media brands, trusted for ~150 years in U.S. agriculture. This role must work closely with journalists, media anchors, podcasters, and other professionals across the company to deliver what’s important and what’s next in sustainable agriculture. Essential Duties and Responsibilities These duties include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned. Create compelling written, digital creative, audio, and video content that supports Trust In Food communications, producer engagement, partner initiatives, and marketing campaigns. Develop content and creative for websites, email campaigns, newsletters, social media, presentations, blogs, and other digital communication channels. Collaborate with the Manager, Influence Engagement to execute content strategies and editorial calendars that support organizational, partner, and business objectives. Create content that supports producer education, partner communications, webinars, workshops, field days, and other virtual and in-person events. Work closely with Farm Journal brands and subject matter experts to develop engaging stories that highlight sustainable agriculture and producer success. Ensure all content aligns with Trust In Food messaging, brand standards, and communication objectives while maintaining accuracy and consistency across channels. Monitor content performance and recommend opportunities to improve engagement and audience reach. Approximately 10% travel to farm locations, industry events, and client meetings to capture stories, develop content, and support event communications. Skills/Professional Experience These qualifications include, but are not limited to, the following: 2–4 years of experience in content creation, communications, marketing, journalism, public relations, agricultural communications, or a related field. Graphic design experience is a plus, but not required. Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Agricultural Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, English, or other relevant field. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to create engaging content for a variety of audiences and communication channels. Experience developing content for websites, email campaigns, newsletters, social media, blogs, presentations, and other digital platforms. Experience creating multimedia content, including video, photography, audio, or other digital storytelling assets preferred. Strong storytelling and interviewing skills with the ability to translate technical or agricultural topics into clear, engaging content. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities. Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, partners, producers, and subject matter experts. Creative, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Interest in food, agriculture, sustainability, and producer audiences preferred.
