As an Information Security Engineer I at Netchex, you'll get hands-on experience from day one: helping scan and secure code before it ships, hardening endpoints across the company, and supporting our cloud security efforts on Azure. Key Responsibilities Contribute to the security of the application development lifecycle by assisting with the operation of code scanning tools. Help implement and manage endpoint and network security tools under the guidance of senior engineers. Assist in the secure configuration of cloud services for web applications and corporate systems. Respond to and help resolve security-related infrastructure issues across both product and office environments. Gain hands-on experience securing both a SaaS product and a corporate IT environment. Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps) and use application security testing (SAST/DAST) tools. Deploy and manage security solutions for endpoints (EDR), email, and networks. Secure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud-native security controls. What We're Looking For 1-3 years of experience in an information security, network, or systems administration role. Foundational knowledge of application security, cloud infrastructure, and corporate network principles. Familiarity with security technologies such as firewalls, endpoint protection, and IDS/IPS. Basic scripting experience with a language like PowerShell or Python. Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and cloud security concepts, preferably within Microsoft Azure.
