IT Analyst – Banking & Payments:

Location: Helsinki, Finland (Hybrid: 60% Onsite / 40% Remote – 3 days/week in office)

Contract Period: 14 Sep 2026 – 26 Feb 2027 (ASAP Start)

Workload: 40 hours / week (100% Allocation)

Languages: Fluent English (Mandatory)

About the Role;

We are recruiting a IT Analyst with deep domain knowledge in banking and payment systems to bridge business strategies with scalable technical solutions. In this role, you will collaborate closely with architects, developers, testers, legal teams, and business stakeholders to elicit, document, and verify technical requirements across end-to-end development lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Elicit functional and non-functional requirements and translate overarching business strategies into detailed technical specifications and use cases.
• Maintain end-to-end requirements traceability during development, ensuring alignment with target architectural blueprints.
• Conduct data mapping, process modeling, and create technical architecture diagrams (e.g., sequence diagrams).
• Collaborate directly with software developers and testers, providing technical clarity and verifying solutions against test results.
• Utilize SQL, API development knowledge, and UI prototyping to support solution design and evaluate feature effectiveness.

Requirements:

• Domain Expertise: Demonstrated experience within the banking sector and payment domain (single/multi-payment systems, regulatory frameworks).
• Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with SQL, API integration concepts (REST/SOAP), data mapping, process modeling, and sequence diagrams.
• Tooling: Proficient in Jira and Confluence for requirements management and user story creation.
• Analysis & Verification: Solid background in UI prototyping, test result verification, and writing clear technical documentation/use cases.
• Communication: Excellent written and spoken English skills for international collaboration.
