Responsible for the high-level planning, strategy, optimization, and design of cloud infrastructure and related cloud services. Defines the architecture of the cloud solution and environments. Analyzes current and emerging technologies based on assessments of the organization’s cloud technology needs. Translates business requirements into cloud process designs and serves as the lead cloud subject matter expert in support of business expansion. Define infrastructure architecture standards and design patterns. Lead technical design for cloud migrations and infrastructure modernization. Evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations. Create architecture diagrams, design documents, and technical specifications. Ensure security compliance and alignment with client enterprise architecture. Provide technical oversight for automation framework design. Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical guidance to engineers. Support RFP/RFI processes for infrastructure tools and platforms. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or related field; Master’s Degree preferred. AWS Solutions Architect Professional and/or Azure Solutions Architect Expert certified 10+ years infrastructure architecture experience. Other Job Specific Skills Expert in: Hybrid cloud architecture (AWS/Azure + on-prem), network architecture, security architecture. Strong knowledge: Infrastructure as Code, container orchestration, microservices. TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification preferred.
