The Role Your role Bring your specialist knowledge and experience to a company managing 50% of the world’s MIPS and play a critical role in our modernization mission. You’ll be in good company among our global community of experts leading the future of mainframe modernization. Experts who share knowledge openly and collaborate freely. In this role, you’ll design, build and maintain the high-volume business logic that runs on the mainframe. At the same time you’ll play a key role in refactoring legacy code to enable modern cloud and mobile applications to seamlessly interact with the mainframe’s core data. What you will do Maintain Performance •Prevent decay and find efficiencies: Monitor the architecture and identify opportunities to optimize code to maintain and enhance mainframe performance. Debug and Test •Find and fix: Debug, troubleshoot, and analyze complex system interactions to keep mission-critical applications running. Develop for the Future •Bridge the gap: As an instrumental player in modernization, you’ll extract business logic from legacy systems for migration or integration with cloud-based services. Who You Are Job profile - Automation Profile Key Responsibilities -Design, and implement enterprise-scale automation solutions using Ansible and Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform. -Build and manage scalable container platforms using Docker and container orchestration technologies. -Design and maintain enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. -Automate server provisioning, application deployment, configuration management, and operational workflows. -Develop reusable automation frameworks, custom modules, playbooks, templates, and shared automation libraries. -Integrate enterprise tools and third-party platforms using REST APIs, web services, and automation connectors. -Create automation standards, governance processes, and best practices for infrastructure and platform operations. -Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, security, application, and operations teams to deliver scalable automation solutions. -Troubleshoot complex deployment, integration, and infrastructure issues across enterprise environments. -Drive continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and automation maturity across the organization. Required Skills & Experience -Strong hands-on expertise with Ansible and Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform. -Extensive experience in infrastructure automation and configuration management. -Strong knowledge of container technologies, container setup, and orchestration platforms. -Advanced experience with Azure DevOps including CI/CD pipeline implementation and release automation. -Running test cases for automation validation. -Proven experience integrating enterprise applications through REST APIs and custom automation modules. -Strong scripting and automation development skills in: PowerShell, Shell scripting, Python Being You The “Kyn” in Kyndryl means kinship, which represents the strong bonds we have with each other, our customers and our communities.
