Dans ce rôle hybride basé à Montréal, vous coordonnerez et exécuterez les activités de génie civil et structural soutenant la sécurité, la qualité, la fiabilité, les échéanciers et la performance des coûts des projets. Vos responsabilités comprendront la conception technique, les revues d’ingénierie, la conformité aux codes ainsi que le soutien à la construction et aux activités sur le terrain pour des applications de postes haute tension et de systèmes FACTS. Vous contribuerez à la résolution de défis de conception complexes, à la préparation des livrables d’ingénierie et assumerez le rôle d’ingénieur responsable pour les projets qui vous seront confiés. Grâce à la conception et à la réalisation d’infrastructures essentielles, ce poste contribue à la fiabilité et à l’évolution continue des réseaux électriques. Votre expérience Fournir des solutions d’ingénierie rentables répondant aux exigences budgétaires et contractuelles. Veiller au respect des exigences de sécurité et à l’atténuation des risques potentiels. Élaborer des plans de travail et des estimations de coûts en génie civil et structural. Préparer les critères de conception et les livrables d’ingénierie nécessaires à l’exécution des projets. Réaliser des travaux d’ingénierie en conception structurale, conception de bâtiments, conception de fondations et spécifications de matériaux pour les applications de postes haute tension et FACTS. Résoudre les enjeux de conception et assurer la conformité aux codes nationaux et locaux. Effectuer des revues techniques des dossiers de conception et soutenir les activités de construction et d’ingénierie sur le terrain. Agir à titre d’ingénieur professionnel responsable des projets assignés. Responsable d’assurer la conformité aux règlements, procédures et lignes directrices applicables, tant à l’interne qu’à l’externe. Votre profil Le candidat doit déjà détenir l’autorisation de travail lui permettant de travailler pour Hitachi Énergie au Canada. Baccalauréat en génie civil ou en génie des structures. Minimum de 7 années d’expérience en génie civil et/ou structural. Expérience en tant qu’ingénieur professionnel et dans la réalisation de projets de génie civil et structural pour des applications de postes haute tension et de systèmes FACTS. The Opportunity Join Hitachi Energy as a Senior Civil Structural Engineer and contribute to the delivery of engineering solutions for Air Insulated Switchgear (AIS), Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS), and Flexible AC Transmission System (FACTS) projects. In this hybrid role based in Montreal, Canada, you will coordinate and execute civil and structural engineering activities that support project safety, quality, reliability, schedule, and cost performance. Your work will include engineering design, technical reviews, code compliance, and construction support for high-voltage substation and FACTS applications. You will resolve complex design challenges, develop engineering deliverables, and serve as Engineer of Record on assigned projects. Through the design and delivery of critical infrastructure, this role contributes to the reliability and ongoing advancement of electric power systems. How You’ll Make an Impact Deliver cost-effective engineering solutions that meet budget and contract requirements. Support adherence to safety requirements and mitigation of potential risks. Develop civil and structural engineering work plans and cost estimates. Prepare design criteria and engineering deliverables for project execution. Perform structural, building, foundation, and material specification engineering for high-voltage substation and FACTS applications. Resolve design issues and ensure compliance with national and local codes. Conduct technical reviews of design packages and support construction and field engineering activities. Serve as the professionally licensed Engineer of Record on assigned projects. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Your Background Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in Canada. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering. Minimum of 7 years of experience in civil and/or structural engineering. Experience serving as a professionally licensed engineer and supporting civil and structural engineering for high-voltage substation and FACTS applications.
