Innovation Consultant

We are there from the earliest engagement with clients when we help them clarify their digital strategy and product goals through exciting workshops. Then we drive the product concept from early vision to detailed screen designs. We produce customer journeys, wireframes, UI designs, brand and visual concepts, animations, and everything in between to create truly innovative products. We don't create designs for the shelf, our ideas are put into action. We are a team of 30+ designers across multiple offices empowering and upskilling each other, let that be technical support or overcoming a creative block. We're looking for a consultant who can grow the value we create for clients: spotting where digital, AI, and process change actually move the needle for a client's business, building the case for investment, and convincing them to move forward. This is a consulting-heavy, commercially-minded role but you'll also be actively involved in our discovery projects, figuring out how AI fits into our clients' everyday work or how we can take their app to the next level. We want someone who cares that solutions actually get built, launched, and used, and who has genuine interest in digital products and AI. Your day to day will include: Shape AI & digital projects: Act as a trusted advisor to clients navigating AI adoption and digital transformation. Help clients understand where AI creates real business value - through new products or process automation - and translate that into a clear direction. Develop new offerings & open new opportunities : Shape new service propositions and help package them for market. Map and prioritise the companies and sectors we should be targeting, and articulate the value of digital and AI investment. Support business development & sales : Partner with our Business Development team on live deals - joining pitches, shaping proposals, and helping close by showing prospects what digital and AI can do for their business. Map and untangle complex processes: Work with clients to understand how their business actually operates. Identify how steps connect, where bottlenecks and dependencies are, and how their processes could be improved. Drive discovery forward : Work shoulder-to-shoulder with our Product Strategists on discovery for app and AI development projects - facilitating client workshops, shaping the vision, prioritising opportunities and gathering customer/employee feedback. Turn vision into a plan : Create the documentation that brings ideas to life - strategic presentations, process maps, automation blueprints, business cases, and (with our team) AI prototypes. Align with the technical team: Work side-by-side with our Solution Architects and AI Engineers to sense-check solutions for feasibility, effort, and cost - then translate those findings into clear, client-ready recommendations. What makes you thrive here: At least 5 years in management or digital consulting (e.g. digital transformation, data/AI, or technology consulting), or a mix of the above, with a strong preference for candidates coming from Big Four or comparable strategy/advisory consulting firms. Experience in our key target industries (Insurance or Energy) is a plus, but systems thinking and intellectual curiosity matter more than industry pedigree. Hands-on experience with process reorganisation. You've mapped and redesigned organizational processes, and you're familiar with the relevant methodologies. Excellent communication & presentation skills : You understand how C-suite leaders think, and you can turn that into a presentation with a narrative that actually lands. Commercial and business-development instinct . You can spot opportunities, shape proposals, and move commercial conversations forward. Prior experience with consultative selling is a strong plus. Strong facilitation, interviewing, and workshop design skills : You can independently plan and facilitate workshops, from agenda design to managing difficult stakeholders, and you've got a track record of leading high impact workshops. A genuine interest in digital and AI: You understand the basic building blocks of how software gets built, and you have your own point of view on the digital products you use.
