Description The Inside Sales Support Specialist is responsible for increasing Medicare membership. The Sales Specialist utilizes their expertise to effectively assist prospects and members through the sales cycle to ensure they are recommending the best product for their needs. This driven individual meets and exceeds their sales goals while being compliant to ensure the best overall experience for our future members. This person will take the potential member through the initial screening portion of the sales process. Once they become qualified and are interested in hearing about product offerings they will transfer them to a licensed sales rep to discuss and suggest products and potentially close the sale. Skills Inside sales, Inbound lead, Sales, Medicare, Health Insurance, Call center Additional Skills & Qualifications Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required 1-3 years of experience within Health Plan sales, broker relationship and/or inside sales Skills & Abilities Excellent customer service skills in a Contact Center environment Inbound and Outbound call experience Clear understanding on compliance guidelines within the health insurance industry Strong documentation and writing skills Polite and professional verbal communication Sales and prospecting skills Ability to meet deadlines Results orientated and solution driven Problem-solving Multi-tasking Excellent communication skills - verbal and written Works well in a team environment Adaptable and flexible in our ever-changing environment Organized and detail-oriented Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Madison, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $22.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
