Instructional Designer (Micro Lessons and SCORM Courseware) for NATO with security clearance Build the micro lessons that teach analysts to use their intelligence systems properly — instructional design with real subject-matter depth. Mostly from your own desk. Good training on a hard system is rarer than the system itself. A multinational defence organisation needs short, sharp e-learning for the people who operate its intelligence systems — onboarding, keeping skills current, and making the tools actually usable in an operation. The work is done from your own premises, with occasional visits to sites in the Netherlands, Portugal and Belgium. What you would be doing Storyboarding each functional area, then writing its script and planning how it should be taught Producing short interactive micro lessons with multimedia, voiceover and assessment Keeping every piece of content inside the classification, security and accessibility standards Delivering SCORM-compliant modules, working closely with a graphic designer, ready for a secure learning management system Embedding the lessons in wiki pages in the shared repository, creating the page where none exists Covering the full functional spread: product repository, analysis of the operating picture, request-for-information workflow, collection management, collection operations, ballistic missile analysis and warning problem management Supplying editable source files and taking each module through up to two review cycles What you would bring At least five years in military intelligence analysis, in an allied or national post, including data collation and intelligence data management At least a year operating allied intelligence systems and handling intelligence information entities Instructional system development: creating new courseware and reworking what exists A real record in course or curriculum design Significant hands-on work with the allied intelligence functional services A record of delivering training packages for intelligence systems The ADDIE model, and sound Microsoft Office A high-level understanding of allied intelligence organisation and current operations Proven written and spoken English Nice to have Writing course control documents for certified training Adobe Captivate 10 or newer, and learning management systems generally Producing and combining graphics, animation, sound, text and video into one seamless package Why this one is worth a look It rewards the unusual pair — genuine intelligence experience plus instructional design — and almost all of it is done from your own desk.
