Build and/or migrate instructional content into the designated LMS. • Apply evidence-based instructional design and adult-learning/andragogical practices. • Develop faculty-development resources focused on effective online pedagogy and student-development resources supporting success in asynchronous and CBE environments. • Develop and maintain faculty/student community sites. • Review, update, and maintain existing courses, modules, links, media, assessments, and other instructional artifacts. • Support identification and correction of inaccurate, outdated, missing, or broken course content. • Apply WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards and Universal Design for Learning principles. • Conduct usability testing, peer review, quality assurance, and/or pilot testing of course components and support development of QA reports. • Coordinate with stakeholders, incorporate review comments, and meet established course-development and maintenance schedules. • Provide LMS/course-content technical support as assigned, including assistance with course navigation, content access, assignments, quizzes, multimedia, and other course functionality. What qualifications do you look for? You might be the professional we’re looking for if you have: • 7 years of demonstrated experience developing online asynchronous and competency-based education (CBE) courses for accredited colleges and universities at the undergraduate level, as well as for military-affiliated educational institutions. • 7 years of experience applying andragogical best practices in designing instruction for working adults, evidenced by two (2) or more programs developed for this population. • 7 years of demonstrated experience and expertise designing and developing faculty-development courses or programs aimed at enhancing online teaching effectiveness (online pedagogy) at accredited institutions. • 7 years of demonstrated experience designing and developing online courses that equip students with the skills, strategies, and habits needed for success in online learning environments (traditional asynchronous and CBE). • 7 years of demonstrated experience operating and maintaining a Learning Management System (LMS) at scale, including new course builds and ongoing course maintenance, within a higher education or government training environment.
