Insurance Account Manager

At Hakea Insurance, we help business owners protect what matters most. Working closely with one of Australia's fastest-growing commercial property buyers' agencies, we support a diverse range of commercial clients across a wide variety of industries.

We're looking for an enthusiastic and organised Insurance Account Manager to join our friendly team. Previous insurance experience is welcomed, but it isn't essential. If you have strong customer service skills, enjoy problem solving, and have a keen eye for detail, we'd love to hear from you.

Comprehensive training and support is provided, including the opportunity to complete your Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification.

About the role

Working closely with clients, insurers and underwriters, you'll help deliver tailored insurance solutions while providing an exceptional client experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, insurers and underwriters.
• Managing client enquiries and providing outstanding customer service.
• Reviewing insurance policies and assisting with renewals, endorsements and policy changes.
• Obtaining quotations from insurers and comparing coverage options.
• Preparing insurance documentation and maintaining accurate client records.
• Liaising with insurers to negotiate competitive outcomes for clients.
• Supporting claims and assisting clients throughout the claims process.
• Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal processes.
• Identifying opportunities to improve client outcomes and grow existing relationships.
• Working collaboratively with the broader Hakea and buyers agency team.

Experience

Insurance experience is highly regarded but not essential. Full training will be provided.

Salary: $80,000 – $125,000 + commission and bonuses (depending on experience).
