Insurance Services Representative

Insurance Services Representative I is responsible for collection and resolution of outstanding insurance receivables including but not limited to unpaid, denied and underpaid claims. Insurance service representatives must communicate effectively, while accurately and efficiently handling high claim volume. Position Details: Mercy Springfield 1235 E Cherokee St. Springfield, MO 65804 Insurance Services Representative Hybrid, Full-Time (Will need to come into office 1/2 day per week) Required Qualifications Education: HS Degree or Equivalent Required Licensure: N/A Required Experience: N/A Preferred Experience: Prior EPIC Resolute Hospital Billing or Ambulatory experience. Prior Revenue Cycle and/or Healthcare billing or insurance experience Required Certification/Registration: N/A Required Other Skills and Knowledge: Computer and keyboarding skills Preferred Skills and Knowledge: Basic Microsoft Excel and Word knowledge.
