Abound Health is seeking an Intake Coordinator to join our team in a fully remote role supporting East Coast hours. In this position, you will report to the Intake Manager and play a vital role as the first point of contact for individuals and families entering services. You set the tone for the client experience—ensuring families feel welcomed, supported, and confident as they begin services. Key Responsibilities Respond promptly to questions and referrals from assigned counties, managing multiple referrals as needed Collect and review intake, referral, and admission information to assess service appropriateness and urgency Maintain regular communication with referral sources to support timely intake progression Assist with service-related paperwork and ensure all intake documentation (ISP, PCP, psychological evaluations, SIS, guardianship, etc.) is complete and uploaded accurately in Dynamics and OnTarget Collaborate with Program Directors to coordinate intake services, including Alternative Family Living and Specialized Consultative Services Identify staffing needs and communicate appropriately with Staffing and Onboarding teams Coordinate the transition of new clients and intake documentation to the Qualified Professional for clinical handoff Refer clients and families to Advocacy services and community resources as needed Qualifications Credentialed or credential-eligible as a Qualified Professional (QP) (see below) Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data management Excellent written and verbal communication skills; professional, compassionate, and composed Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills Flexible, adaptable, and proactive in supporting client and organizational needs Ability to build and maintain therapeutic working relationships with clients, families, and internal teams Qualified Professional (QP) Requirements Candidates must meet one of the following education and experience combinations: Master’s Degree Pathway Master’s degree in a related human services field and a minimum of 1 year of full-time IDD experience OR Bachelor’s Degree – Related Field Pathway Bachelor’s degree in a related human services field and a minimum of 2 years of full-time IDD experience OR Bachelor’s Degree – Unrelated Field Pathway Bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field and a minimum of 4 years of full-time IDD experience Experience must include professional support to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Compensation & Benefits Pay range for this role is $50,000 - $60,000 annually. Abound Health offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and wellness benefits beginning on the 60th day of employment. A 401(k) plan is available after 12 months of employment. Compensation is based on experience, education, job-related skills, and work location.
