Our team and what we'll accomplish together Our te am of technical integration consultants is dedicated to creating seamless connections between client backends and Interlok solutions. Your contribution will be pivotal in helping us achieve unparalleled integration services, making us the go-to experts in the industry. In the role of an Integration Consultant, you will join a small, dynamic team of technical integration consultants responsible for integrating client backends (for example MYOB, SAP, Dynamics, Xero and other ERPs) with our middleware technology. In this fast-paced environment you will be responsible for delivery of allocated integration projects, multi-tasking to manage multiple clients and deliverables simultaneously. You will have the opportunity to bounce ideas off the internal team and leverage team strengths to support best client outcomes. The role encompasses communication, project management, business analysis, research & development, problem solving skills as well as being deeply technical. This hybrid role offers remote working with in-office attendance on Thursdays for team collaboration, and additional office days as business needs arise. What you'll do ● Consult directly with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored EDI solutions. ● Engage in hands-on middleware development, configuration, documentation, and deployment activities. ● Manage multiple integration projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables. ● Peer review complex code and design, ensuring standards are met. ● Scope and estimate new technical work in collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders. ● Design and prepare solutions for complex Change Requests and EDI Implementations. ● Conduct training sessions and workshops for customers on various products and solutions. ● Be the subject matter expert e/g Review Integration Project Documentation and provide recommendations. ● Manage end-to-end delivery of technical work on integration projects and facilitate project management, communication, and task coordination. ● Implement client technical requirements within our Integration Process and Delivery Methodology Framework. ● Provide third-level support and manage end-to-end delivery of integration projects. What you bring ● Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in IT. ● Strong understanding on programing fundamentals, XML and data transformation (XSLT) ● Strong understanding of SQL and database concepts ● Good Understanding of networks (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, ports, protocols) ● Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and command line operations. ● Strong understanding of various integration protocols (SFTP, API, AS2, EDI, HTTP webservices) ● Problem solving mindset with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills ● Excellent verbal and written communication skills - ability to communicate clearly with bothtechnical and non-technical audiences ● Excellent time management - ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities ● Prior experience in client-facing roles, with data integration project experience ● Experience with enterprise integration tools ● Demonstrated experience with deployments of enterprise middleware systems ● Experience with SFTP, API, Web Services, SOAP, XML and XSLT ● Prior project experience following Waterfall and/or Agile project implementation ● methodologies ● Demonstrated experience: Tech Business Analysis + Agile + Enterprise Integration Patterns Great-to-haves ● Experience with and knowledge of EDI in Supply Chain and Agriculture Domain At TELUS Agriculture and Consumer Goods, we pledge our commitment to actively promote diversity, equity, inclusion, reconciliation and accessibility.
