Intern - Software Developer Back End (Fulltime, Remote, Philippines)

About the Internship:

• This is an Unpaid, Full-time Remote Intern – Software Developer Back End role who are interested to join an early stage tech company. . You will be reporting to the CTO and working with other developers. Upon joining, you will be introduced to the team, onboarded with the tools and tasks and be up to speed with the progress. There will be a mandatory scrum sessions to discuss progress. By the end of your internship, you will receive a certificate, performance feedback, LinkedIn recommendation based on performance and character references.

Daily Duties:

• Develop backend scripts and APIs
• Handle the deployment pipeline
• Handle the cloud server (includes computing, database and object storage)
• Address backend related issues on Github
• Consistently collaborate with Front end on API implementation
• Join scheduled scrums and provide updates, issues, blockers and recommendations
• Conduct software testing/ QA

QUALIFICATIONS:

Familiar or experience in the following:

• Cloudflare Workers, Database, and Object Storage
• TypeScript
• Hono Framework
• RESTful API Development
• Database (SQL & ORMs)
• Authentication/authorization
• Git & Collaborative Development
• Code testing

Education:

• Graduating Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering or related course (Philippines)

Soft Skills:

• Communicate clearly in spoken and written English & Tagalog.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive and confident in collaborating with other team members
