International Move Coordinator

Responsibilities:

• Plan, route & book freight for import/export – specifically USG impelled cargo.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations, contracts, tenders, and tariffs
• Collaborate with overseas agents, international freight forwarders, steamship lines, customs brokers, and port agents based on need and situation.
• Assist with the processing of all documentation
• Track and pull schedules for shipments
• Select NVOCC’s, port agents, and customs brokers
• Export clearance of POV’s (Personally Owned Vehicles) from the United States (working directly with US Customs & Border)
• Assistance with rate filings
• Assist with quoting OTO’s (One-Time-Only) rates
• Assisting management with various projects as needed

Requirements:

• English language proficiency is a must
• GSA experience
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred
• Specific industry experience or prior Transportation or Logistics experience preferred
• High level of interpersonal communication skills, oral and written
• Willingness to work US business hours, depending on the time zone allocated
• MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and general internet research skills
• Detail oriented, accurate, and possessing analytical capabilities
• Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to multi-task and meet daily/weekly/monthly goals
• Ability to work independently/remotely with a sense of urgency
• Positive attitude and good team player
