Internship Data, AI & Digital Process Support

About this Position We are looking for a technically strong and self-driven intern to support our data, AI, and digital process initiatives. In this role you will help turn unstructured technical documents into structured, usable data, contribute to AI-based extraction pipelines, and support the digital tools that make product knowledge accessible across the organization. It is a hands-on position with real ownership, close mentorship, and direct exposure to a global digital transformation program. This is an ongoing position. What you´ll do Extract and structure technical data from unstructured documents using AI-based solutions Support the development and optimization of data extraction pipelines with Python and cloud technologies Validate, enrich, and maintain product and company datasets to ensure high data quality Contribute to the setup and improvement of digital tools and processes through testing and stakeholder collaboration Support data-driven analyses, product classifications, and portfolio segmentation activities Prepare reports, visualizations, and presentations for internal stakeholders using Power BI and Excel Assist with documentation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of digital workflows and AI applications What makes you a good fit Student currently enrolled in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Economics, or a related field Fluent English skills; German language skills are a plus Strong Python skills and an interest in AI, data extraction, and modern digital technologies Familiarity with structured data, cloud platforms, and development tools such as Git, VS Code, Jupyter, or Docker is an advantage Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a proactive mindset and the ability to work independently and collaboratively Availability for a full-time internship at our headquarters in Düsseldorf for a duration of six months, ideally starting in October 2026 Some perks of joining Henkel Flexible work scheme with flexible hours, hybrid work model Diverse national and international growth opportunities Global wellbeing standards with health and preventive care programs Attractive Remuneration Global Experience Interns Community We offer you an attractive salary between €1.050-2.270 gross per month. The exact amount of the remuneration depends on the desired duration, the type of internship (voluntary or mandatory) and existing degrees.
