Internship: Global Product Management - Floor Care

As a Global Product Management Intern, you will work alongside experienced Product Managers on the development, positioning, communication, and launch of Philips vacuum cleaners across international markets. You will gain hands-on experience across product management, consumer insights, marketing, innovation, and go-to-market, contributing to products and propositions that make everyday cleaning easier and more effective for millions of consumers around the world. Location: Amsterdam (hybrid, 2-3 days in the office) Type: Internship (non-thesis) Duration: 6 months with possibility to extend Working Hours: Full-time (40h/week preferred) Expected Start Date: ASAP The impact you’ll make: Support the global Product Management team in developing and launching new Philips vacuum cleaners across international markets. Track product performance and associated KPIs, including sales, margin, and market share, using data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement. Contribute to the development of product propositions based on consumer needs, market trends, and competitive insights. Support the development of product positioning, messaging, claims, and communication materials, including packaging, online content, product pages, product demonstrations, training materials, and launch communication, clearly communicating the key benefits of Philips vacuum cleaners. Support consumer and product testing, analyzing feedback, ratings & reviews, and other sources of consumer insights to improve product propositions, communication, and user experience. Benchmark competitor products, technologies, features, pricing, claims, and communication to identify opportunities to strengthen Philips' competitive position. Contribute to the development of product presentations, commercial presentations, marketing toolkits, and training materials for markets and commercial teams. Collaborate with global cross-functional teams across Product Management, Marketing, R&D, Design, Engineering, Sales, and Operations. Take ownership of specific projects and deliverables, bringing your own ideas and helping turn them into tangible product and marketing initiatives. The skills and knowledge you’ll bring: Currently pursuing a Master's degree (preferred) in Marketing, International Management, Business, Product Management, Engineering, Economics, or a related field. Strong interest in marketing, product management, marketing trends, AI, data analytics, technology and innovation. Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, with strong presentation and communication skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Well-organized, structured, and able to manage multiple priorities. Strong logical thinking and the ability to see the big picture. Curious, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of projects and working independently.
