The Circularity and Innovative Technology department at our Hannover-Stöcken site is responsible, among other things, for the investigation, evaluation, and development of innovative tire manufacturing processes. We support our partners in turning their ideas for new products and manufacturing technologies into reality by providing a creative environment and the necessary methods and tools. We are looking for a full time intern, starting in September 2026. Your Tasks: Concept development, design, and engineering of test fixtures and experimental equipment Manufacturing components using 3D printing technologies Assembly and commissioning of mechanical and pneumatic systems and subassemblies Execution of tests and experiments, including documentation of results Continuous optimization and improvement of test fixtures and equipment Active studies in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field, ideally with a focus on Design Engineering and Product Development. Proficient in Autodesk Inventor for 3D design and technical documentation Experience with 3D printing technologies and additive manufacturing processes Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Basic practical knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical components , including assembly and integration Strong interest in technical solutions, engineering challenges, and emerging technologies Creative mindset with a curious and innovative approach to problem-solving Effective communication and teamwork skills in an international environment Please upload the following documents (mandatory): For a compulsory internship: the study regulations with the required duration clearly highlighted Current certificate of enrollment Current transcript of records If required, additionally: Valid residence permit Work permit including supplementary sheet Applications from persons with severe disabilities are welcome.
