Job Description Summary GE Vernova’s Software & Controls Solutions (SCS) business is accelerating the convergence of controls, software, AI, and digital technologies to transform how power plants are operated. We are seeking an executive Integrated Plant Optimization & Customer Value to serve as the bridge between power plant operations and our technology portfolio. In this strategic leadership role, you will bring the perspective of the owner/operator/plants into our business, partnering across Strategy, Product, Software, Controls, Commercial, and Services to ensure our investments solve the highest-value operational challenges, create measurable customer outcomes, and accelerate commercialization. You will own the definition and validation of interoperable Software and Controls solutions that solve the highest value operational challenges and create measurable customer value. You will be an integrated member of the SCS leadership team, influencing enterprise priorities through deep operational expertise and customer insight. Job Description What You’ll Do Bring the Operator Perspective to SCS Represent the voice of the power plant owner/operator across the organization, ensuring our portfolio reflects real operational workflows, plant challenges, and customer priorities. Shape Interoperable Plant Optimization Identify opportunities to integrate controls, software, AI, and services into differentiated solutions that improve reliability, availability, efficiency, flexibility, emissions performance, and lifecycle value. Translate Operations into Customer Value Develop operational value frameworks and business cases that quantify customer outcomes, strengthen commercialization, and guide investment decisions. Validate Future Solutions Lead executive customer engagements and operational validation efforts to ensure new offerings solve meaningful customer problems before broad product investment. Influence Enterprise Strategy Partner with Strategy, Product, Software, Controls, Commercial, and Services to influence portfolio priorities and long-term growth through operational expertise and industry insight. Experience Required 10 years of leadership experience required Power Generation Executive Significant experience leading or optimizing power generation operations with a deep understanding of plant operations, controls, maintenance, outages, fleet performance, and operational economics. Systems Thinker Demonstrated ability to connect plant operations, controls, software, AI, and services into integrated customer solutions that improve business outcomes. Enterprise Influencer Proven success leading through influence across matrixed organizations while aligning diverse stakeholders around common customer and business objectives. Customer Value Leader Experience translating operational expertise into measurable customer value, business cases, commercialization strategies, and executive customer engagement. Industry Thought Leader Recognized credibility with utilities, owner/operators, and industry partners, with the ability to influence strategic direction and represent GE Vernova as a trusted advisor.
