Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Intershop Front-End Developer to join our Progressive Web Application (PWA) Team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Angular, TypeScript, and modern front-end technologies, with experience building responsive, high-performance e-commerce applications on the Intershop Commerce Suite. Exposure to AI technologies and modern development practices is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front-end applications for the Intershop Commerce Suite.
• Build scalable, responsive, and high-performance Progressive Web Applications (PWAs).
• Create reusable Angular components and optimize application performance.
• Integrate REST APIs and collaborate with backend teams.
• Implement responsive UI/UX following best development practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality e-commerce solutions.
• Follow CI/CD processes, version control, and coding standards.

Required Skills

Front-End Development

• Strong hands-on experience with Angular (v12 or above).
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with RxJS, NgRx, Signals, and Angular Material.
• Strong understanding of component architecture and state management.
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs and working with JSON.
• Knowledge of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.

Progressive Web Applications (PWA)

• Strong understanding of PWA concepts, including:
• Service Workers
• Caching Strategies
• Offline Functionality
• Web App Manifests
• Performance Optimization

AI Fundamentals

• Basic understanding of Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Familiarity with AI API integration (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Gemini, or similar).
• Basic understanding of prompt engineering concepts.
• Awareness of Responsible AI practices, data privacy, and security considerations.

Tools & Technologies

• Git (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket/Azure DevOps)
• CI/CD Pipelines
• Node.js & npm
• Agile/Scrum methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on Intershop Commerce Suite projects.
• Experience developing enterprise-scale e-commerce applications.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
