How you make a difference In this challenging role, you act as the key interface between the business and IT in the infrastructure environment. You are responsible for managing payment terminal applications and, in collaboration with internal and external partners, you ensure smooth interface communication with the checkout system. Your core tasks include supporting and developing the IT infrastructure, particularly in the field of payment terminals, printers, and client and network infrastructure. You develop sustainable IT solutions with a holistic view of technological developments and business requirements. As a member of a business-related cluster, you support projects focusing on Swiss Post branches and self-service solutions, from design to successful implementation, and you ensure the operation of services. What you have to offer You have completed basic commercial or technical training, ideally supplemented by advanced training in information technology or business informatics. You also have several years of experience in IT infrastructure and in-depth knowledge of payment solutions, enabling you to develop sustainable and practical solutions. You analyse complex problems in a structured manner and are able to rapidly identify correlations and find efficient solutions. You also communicate in a manner appropriate to the target audience, take on responsibility and manage several IT services simultaneously in a dynamic environment, ensuring that you make the best possible use of your strengths. You have a very good spoken and written command of German and good (spoken) proficiency in English. Knowledge of another national language is an advantage and helps you to communicate with various internal and external stakeholders.
